About
Based in northeast Ohio, .68 Caliber Productions began designing scenario games for Battlefront Paintball in 2008 under the name 1st Strike Scenarios. Since then, we have expanded our events to include Synergy Paintball and changed our name to .68 Caliber Productions in 2012 in order to provide some distinction between our paintball team, 1st Strike and the scenario company.
It has always been our goal to design games that we would want to play in. Special attention is given during the design process to make the games as fair, balanced and unique as possible. Every bit of player feedback provided to us over the years has been carefully considered and when possible/practical, implemented into our events. We value your input and highly encourage you to contact us after the events and let us know what you felt went right as well as what aspects you felt could benefit from some changes.
Our scenarios are story-line driven with a focus on special missions, props and equipment. We always encourage players to bring their own props to the event and only ask that it is cleared with .68 Cal at least two weeks prior to the game. Our larger events, like the popular Day of Days game based on the 1944 Normandy landings, put the team generals in complete control of the game. No scripted stories, no forced missions. Generals are given a basic guideline to follow and told what their end objective should be. It’s up to them on how to achieve it. A strong desire to win and having a good time is what drives events like this.
On behalf of the entire referee staff, I thank you for your continued support and look forward to seeing you at the field for our next event.
Regards,
TGE
